In following with the spirit of the Internet, QuickOverview.com is an exchange of ideas by experts in specific subject matters. If you would like to contribute a quick overview in a matter for which you have expertise, we will pay you $10 via PayPal, which can be used for web purchases or be converted to cash.

You need to give QuickOverview.com permission to publish, own, and edit your overview.

Your contribution can be anonymous, or we can publish your name, email, and URL if you wish.

To contribute, follow these rules:

  1. Look at existing overviews for an ideas on how to write your own quick overview.

  2. Choose a topic from the list below and send an email to comments@quickoverview.com with the topic you chose. Wait for a response to make sure the topic you chose has not yet been awarded to another author.

  3. Write a quick overview between 750 words and 2000 words and email it to comments@quickoverview.com. Let us know if you want the overview to be anonymous, or if we should include your name, email address, and/or URL.

  4. Pay special attention to grammar and use your spell checker

  5. Make your guide stand the test of time. For example, for a shopping guide for computers, don't speak about the latest model, but rather discuss what to look for in general when comparing models.

  6. Don't be afraid to take a stand and make firm recommendations. When practical, explain multiple sides of a choice, but don't leave the reader wonder what your opinion is.

  7. Quick Overview is intended for all audiences, so make sure your contribution is not offensive or use vulgarity.
